PHD RESEARCHER IRD UMR ECO&SOLS

I’m a soil ecologist from unit Eco&Sols (Montpellier, France) working on soil biodiversity and ecosystem functions. I investigate ecological mechanisms involved in the relationships between soil biodiversity and key ecosystems functions, e.g. organic matter decomposition, nutrient cycling, microbial activity and composition, plant growth and nutrition, plant tolerance against pests, carbon storage. I’m particularly interested in soil nematodes and the roles played by these microorganisms in annual plant-based cropping systems. My finalized research focuses on identifying an indicator of ecological intensification for the development of agro-ecological practices.
